Your song stays with you.
The pitch changer reads and processes selected audio inside your browser. It does not send your audio to a conversion or upload server.
Audio and filenames
Audio samples, the selected filename and the current settings are held in page memory to support playback and downloads. Choosing a replacement releases the app's references to the previous track. Closing or reloading the page ends that page session; the browser controls when memory is reclaimed. Downloads are saved wherever your browser sends downloaded files.
Browser storage
The site stores your light/dark theme choice in local storage under pitch-practice-theme. If you opt into “Remember these sections”, it also saves a SHA-256 track fingerprint, your section names, loop bounds, pitch, fine tuning, speed and processing mode under a per-track local-storage key. The fingerprint lets the same file restore its sections without saving its filename. Audio samples and selected filenames are not saved in browser storage. Turning that option off removes persistent sections for the current track. Sections already open in the page remain available until you clear them, replace the track or end that page session.
Site resources
The browser downloads the website files needed to run the tool. The app includes no advertising scripts, analytics, accounts, remote fonts or third-party audio conversion service.
Your control
You choose which file to open and when to download. You can remove the saved theme through your browser's site-storage settings. Only open recordings you are entitled to use on a device you trust.
